The Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium already knows you care for, and work for, Black girls and women. We need Wisdom
Council members to inform and focus our efforts on regional/statewide issues affecting Black girls and women. Most importantly,
Wisdom Council members help us to select grantee partners.
The Wisdom Council is an intergenerational group of leaders who represent the 12 states served by the Consortium. Council members
can be as young as 12 and will have expertise in movement building and a deep knowledge of the networks in their state and region.
If you join the Wisdom Council, you agree that you can be available at least 2-4 hours a month for council meetings
during an active grant cycle.
